Dragon Quest XI is releasing July 29th, 2017 in Japan on Nintendo 3DS & PlayStation 4. Nintendo Switch version to be released later. A special edition containing both the 3DS & PS4 versions is also coming out.
Will DQXI (3DS) surpass DQX (3DS) in not only graphics but overall?
It has been explained that DQXI will feature not only polygonal 3D graphics but 2D graphics as well! Why isn't DQXI 3DS using cloud technology for higher resolution 3D graphic presentation - does it need it? Did they not have access to such technology for this upcoming title? I hope players of DQX aren't disappointed with DQXI. I will be purchasing DQXI. I hope they used more than 50% of their brain while working on it! 💪
