Comparison #10: Bad Company (vs. Bad Company) and The Wizard of Oz

Fujisawa Tooru's Bad Company
 ↓↓↓
1 correlates with blue lines, 2 correlates with black lines
 ↑↑↑

Please pay special attention to how the 1's and 2's are seemingly parallel to each other in this image. This technique allows for a truly interesting cover image, as there is a lot of contrast between the parallels. Yet more interestingly, the parallels are not located on the same page (plane?) -- they are split between the front and back cover, which is divided by the spine. Could these parallels also be one in the same?

Note: Ryuji Danma is the only character whose head is facing a different direction. Also, Onizuka is the only person not holding a blue popsicle, while Fukitoshi is the only one who holds each of the three different colored popsicles.

Opening comparison is finished. Now on to the headliner.

Scarecrow, Tin Man, Dorothy, and Lion (The Wizard of Oz)

Eikichi Onizuka, Sakura Yamato, Fukitoshi, and Isami. (Bad Company)
Whether intentional or not, the resemblance of the above image (The Wizard of Oz) and below image (Bad Company) is quite stark. (I've cropped out the outlying character to illustrate this to a finer degree.) Which characters would match up with these images besides, of course, Sakura and Dorothy? I'm not exactly sure.

Ryuji Danma (Bad Company)

Wicked Witch of the West (The Wizard of Oz)
The remaining character, if going with The Wizard of Oz comparison, would most likely be Ryuji compared to The Wicked Witch of the West. I would find that so interesting, if true.

『ドラゴンクエストXI 過ぎ去りし時を求めて』𑁦 Comparing DQX (3DS) to DQXI (3DS)

Dragon Quest XI (3DS)

Dragon Quest X (3DS)

Dragon Quest X (3DS)
Graphics saying that DQX mobile versions and DQX 3DS utilize Dragon Quest X Cloud Service.

Dragon Quest XI is releasing July 29th, 2017 in Japan on Nintendo 3DS & PlayStation 4. Nintendo Switch version to be released later. A special edition containing both the 3DS & PS4 versions is also coming out.

Will DQXI (3DS) surpass DQX (3DS) in not only graphics but overall?

It has been explained that DQXI will feature not only polygonal 3D graphics but 2D graphics as well! Why isn't DQXI 3DS using cloud technology for higher resolution 3D graphic presentation - does it need it? Did they not have access to such technology for this upcoming title? I hope players of DQX aren't disappointed with DQXI. I will be purchasing DQXI. I hope they used more than 50% of their brain while working on it! 💪

Comparison #5: Kratos and Dreamcast Logo

Kratos (God of War)
Sega Dreamcast Logo
The spiral paint or tattoo on Kratos bears an uncanny resemblance to the Sega Dreamcast logo. A mere coincidence? It wouldn't be a stretch to say the mark (now, at least) symbolizes tragedy.

Comparison #3: Parallels | Roger Klotz and Geese Howard

Roger Klotz (Doug)
Geese Howard (Fatal Fury, King of Fighters)
Roger Klotz, poor, and Geese Howard, came from poor background and rose to power and riches. Both of them are miscreants.
